- A safety check and free regional crisis resources are available before the assessment. No payment or score is required to seek help.
- Anyone facing immediate danger, violence, threats, coercive control, or risk of self-harm or harm to others should contact local emergency or crisis support before using the assessment.
- The report does not perform a violence-risk assessment. Decisions about limiting or ending contact should account for housing, finances, documents, care duties, digital safety, trusted support, and retaliation risk.

## Privacy and data handling

- No MirrorCare account, name, or email is required to answer the assessment.
- Quick Reflection answers are processed in page memory.
- Deep Assessment answers are sent over HTTPS for report generation. Raw item answers and generated report text are not written to the application database.
- To prevent duplicate redemption, the service stores payment and fulfillment metadata plus a SHA-256 digest of the 24-answer array. The digest is not used to reconstruct the answers.
- Trend history is optional. When selected, only the date and four aggregate means are stored in that browser and can be cleared by the user.
